![]() Play will be limited – not all of the features will be unlocked, there may be time limits, and you may be asked to only play certain scenarios out for testing. Players are also encouraged to offer any kind of feedback regarding the function of the game and the actual mechanics. ![]() What’s expected of players during the closed beta? You basically need to play while keeping an eye out for any bugs or stability issues and reporting those to the developers. Closed beta participants will receive a mystery reward at the official launch of the online game that way, you can carry the reward into your full-launch account. The biggest perk of joining the beta testing is getting to check out the online version of the game first – however, Bushiroad is trying to sweeten the deal a bit. The company has stated that they have no plans, as of now, to create versions for other operating systems.Ī select few screenshots are up on the Steam page for the game. Yes, Windows 10 is missing – you cannot submit the registration for the closed beta testing if you’re currently running Windows 10, although there’s no solid word on whether or not the full launch will function on Microsoft’s newest OS. The beta version and the upcoming full release are only available on PC – Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. ![]() After the release, the company will start organizing tournaments for online players separately from its tabletop tournaments (they’re currently getting ready for the regionals for their Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League Tournament at the Bushiroad Spring Fest). For a solid visual, check out the company-released trailer from a few days ago.Ĭardfight!! Online will be free-to-play with in-game purchases, and downloadable instead of browser-based. In the game, you choose your clan/faction and battle other factions headed by other players. Just like the original TCG, the storyline occurs on the planet of Cray, where endless numbers of factions are constantly at eachother’s throats. Available cards will include those from the English Cardfight!! Vanguard Edition G series and later, but it’s unclear as to whether every card from that period will be available or only a select number. The game, which will be released in English, is based on the popular TCG and has you build a deck and go head-to-head with other players online. And that's Meta right now.Cards from the recently-released Fighter’s Collection may make their way into Cardfight!! Online. So find a way to counter Shadows and you'll be safe. SHADOW BASED!!! This helps us plan ahead, some new Shadow (Diablo to be exact) support is coming in G BT06, so be wary of that. I think Shadows have just been DOMINATING. And they've been getting tons of support. I dont remember seeing Gear Chronicle, Royal Paladin or Neo Nectar. A few others I saw were Aqua Force, Angel Feather, even the good old Kagero and Narukami worked aswell, and yet Shadows topped deck'd. Anyways, Aurageisyer and Blizza were used in decklists alot, a few Diablo/Gust decks, a Mordred Break Ride deck (Revengers/Diablo, focusing on Mordred) and Revengers/Diablo, which worked, even though Revengers suck. So messing up me is actually really good. I was quite surprised, Witches are great! They weaken your attack force and bring down the chance of Triggers by calling Grade 0's to mess up the field, which shoulda top deck'd everything!! If my formation gets screwed up (mainly Locks, I hate you Link Joker!!) I hate to try and work out a plan mid way battle, and I PLAN everything before going in. It was a slightly modified Legend Deck, or a mixed version of Diablo and Revengers (Which I will admit, Revengers suck now a days) and there were no Witches. They only came 2nd or 3rd (the occasional first) and most of the time. Yes my Clan!! I should be proud right? I'm not actually, I'm kinda mad. Although as I looked through deck lists here was the Clan I noticed top decking everyone. Ok, so the Meta Game in Vanguard is pretty balanced, unlike SOME (Not naming any *cough* Yu-Gi-Oh! *cough*) card games, where the Meta is just surronding ONE archetype, etc, Vanguard is diverse, because Bushiroad keeps on updating older Clans, to get them up to date unlike Yu-Gi-Oh! (Who does the same, just like 5 years later xD) who forget about their cards.
